Draft Email Scripts by Segment

Email 1: Campaign Introduction

Audience: All warm contacts (1011) | Week 2 | Sent by: Dana Whitfield

Subject: The Cornerstone Campaign: Investing in the Infrastructure for Neighborhood Impact

I wanted to share something we have been working on quietly at Northside Neighbors Collective.

Over the past several years, NNC has built a foundation of after-school learning, housing stability, community health access, and community grantmaking in Ridgefield. That work has been sustained by the people who believe in it, including many of you.

Today, I am reaching out to let you know about The Cornerstone Campaign, a focused effort to stabilize and strengthen the core systems that make this work possible. We are not asking for emergency help. We are investing in the infrastructure that allows neighborhoods to lead.

Over the coming weeks, we will be sharing more about what Cornerstone supports, and how you can be part of it. For now, I simply wanted you to know that this work continues, and that you are part of the community that sustains it.

With gratitude,
Dana Whitfield
Executive Director

Email 2: Breakfast Donor Re-engagement

Audience: 107 Breakfast Donors | Week 4

Subject: Your Support Made a Difference. Here is What Comes Next.

Last June, you showed up for NNC. Whether you purchased a ticket, sponsored a table, or made a donation through our Community Breakfast, your support helped us raise over $10,000 and reconnect with the community that powers this work.

I am writing today because we are building on that momentum. The Cornerstone Campaign is NNC's effort to secure $306,000 in operational support across three areas: Youth Learning Programs, Neighborhood Housing Stability, and Community Health Access.

You have already demonstrated that you believe in this work. I am inviting you to invest again, at whatever level feels right for you, to help us sustain the infrastructure behind resident-led change in Ridgefield.

You can contribute directly through our Give Lively page or reply to this email to discuss how your support can make the greatest impact.

Thank you for being part of this,
Dana Whitfield

Email 3: Program Alumni Stewardship

Audience: 246 Program Participants and Alumni | Week 5

Subject: The Work You Invested In Still Needs Champions

You participated in a Racial Equity Institute training hosted by Northside Neighbors Collective. That experience was part of a larger ecosystem of community work that NNC has been building in Ridgefield for years.

Today, that ecosystem needs champions. Not just people who attended a training, but people who understand why this work matters and are willing to help sustain it.

The Cornerstone Campaign is our effort to invest $306,000 in the systems that support youth learning, housing stability, and community health across our neighborhoods. As an program alumni, you are uniquely positioned to understand why this infrastructure matters.

I am inviting you to consider two things: a financial contribution at any level, and your willingness to connect us with others who share this commitment.

With appreciation,
Dana Whitfield

Email 4: Institutional and Partnership Invitation

Audience: Institutional contacts, sponsors, foundation staff | Week 6

Subject: An Invitation to Invest in Ridgefield's Neighborhood Infrastructure

I am reaching out because your organization has a relationship with, or alignment to, the work of Northside Neighbors Collective in Ridgefield.

We are currently engaged in The Cornerstone Campaign, a confidential, invitation-only campaign to secure $306,000 in partnership support across three areas of focus: Youth Learning Programs ($102,000), Neighborhood Housing Stability ($102,000), and Community Health Access ($102,000).

This is not a public fundraising campaign. It is a curated effort to engage the partners and institutions who are most aligned with the long-term sustainability of resident-led community change.

I would welcome the opportunity to share more in a brief conversation or at one of our upcoming hosted gatherings. Would you be open to a 20-minute call in the coming weeks?

Respectfully,
Dana Whitfield

Email 5+: Follow-up Sequence

Audience: Engaged contacts (openers/clickers) | Weeks 7-14

Subject options: "A Resident Leader's Story" / "What $102,000 Makes Possible" / "Cornerstone: Final Weeks"

Rotate between storytelling, impact data, and urgency. Segment by who engaged with earlier emails. Include direct links to Give Lively donation page. Share resident voices, Health Connector stories, and program alumni reflections. As the campaign window closes, shift toward deadline-focused messaging with gratitude.
